The WCOOP is currently at the center of the online poker world’s attention, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t any smaller yet equally important events going down in other poker rooms. Full Tilt Poker’s MiniFTOPS is one such series. Though the buy-ins are much smaller and the starting field quite a bit bigger, that doesn’t mean there’s a lack of interest on the part of the high stakes pros concerning these
poker tournaments. As a matter of fact, some of the guys playing in WCOOP events are over at
Full Tilt Poker playing in the MiniFTOPS too. Despite the small buy-in, the possibility to win big still exists, and players can sail into 5-figures on relatively meager buy-ins.
So far, the XVIIth edition of the MiniFTOPS has seen 103,186 players belly up to the virtual tables over 13 events. The prizes awarded totaled a staggering $2.5 million, which - considering the size of the buy-ins – is indeed truly impressive.
The biggest single prize so far in the series went to the winner of event #13, PaULiStAnOPimP, who took home $64,050. AAKingKillaAA didn’t do bad either: he took home $57.7K in the very same event.
Event #1 was won by loldazzlements, who – thanks to a 3 way deal at the top- only won $30.3k. Pimpnuho, the second place man, was the one with the biggest prize: he took down $37.2k. Event #2 saw dialdial rise to the top and Event #3 was won by Joao Dianda. Lol donkaments won Event #4, taking down a little over $15k. DrMcBoy won event #4 for a $47k reward.
Hippychick 420 won Event #6, Dwigt won event #7 and iss_thesky won event #8.
Radrick Davis took down $59k in event #9 and itz guido yo won event #10. Event #11 went to bignamba10, and event #12 to Jmaster130.
