Full Tilt Poker’s MTOPS Set to Kick Off

Set to kick off on June 9,
Full Tilt Poker’s MTOPS is set to shake up the micro stakes scene at the site for good. Obviously building on the success of similar online Series, the Micro Turbo
Online Poker Series is offering a massive guaranteed prize-pool of $2 million. Knowing the interest that such micro buy-in series usually generate however, we can safely affirm that the actual prizes will probably total much more than that.
The great thing about the MTOPS is that unlike other, similar caliber online poker series, it only features micro buy-in events, which means that players will be able to buy in directly for as little as $0.50+$0.05. With such buy-ins, attempting to qualify through an online satellite hardly makes any sense at all, but that doesn’t mean Full Tilt Poker hasn’t made such qualifiers available: they cost $0.1+$0.01. For each and every one of the MTOPS events, multiple entries will be available.
The highlight of the MTOPS will obviously be the Main Event, which takes place on June 23 and costs only $15 to enter directly. Given that it features a guarantee of $1 million, it’s safe to assume that the Main Event will indeed be extremely popular and that its actual prize-pool will shoot way past its initial guarantee. Players will be allowed to register for this event no fewer than 8 times, so it is indeed highly likely to get a lot of money tossed into the middle.
The very first event of the MTOPS offers a guarantee of $10k and it is a New to the Game event, offering players the chance to grab a more than decent prize for a $1.1 buy-in.
Event #39, which takes place on June 16, offers a massive guarantee of $100k too for a $5.5 buy-in.
Sign up to Full Tilt Poker and hit the felt in the MTOPS on June 9!
