Full Tilt Sweetens Galway Festival for Online Players

Having flown under the radar live events-wise for the last few months,
Full Tilt Poker have stepped forth aggressively with their UKIPT Full Tilt Poker Galway Festival. They first hired four red pros to represent the operation at the event slated to be the biggest ever live poker event held in Europe. There will be no fewer than 60 tournaments, including a massive Main Event with a million Euro guarantee and an attractive high roller.
Soon after the names of the new pros have been announced, Full Tilt Poker moved to drum up more online interest for the Festival, announcing a series of prizes, added benefits and competitions. The Last Longer Sponsorship Prize Package is the crown jewel of the promotional lot. The winner of this package will have buy-ins and all expenses paid for each and every one of the UKIPT’s Season 4 Main Events. The way to win the package is a relatively straightforward one: the player who picks up the said benefits will be the one who wins his €1 million Galway Festival Main Event entry through Full Tilt Poker and then goes on to outlast all the other online qualifiers. If the said player manages to actually win the Main Event, he will be the proud recipient of a custom Full Tilt Poker avatar, which will immediately place him – at least image-wise – in the same league with Full Tilt’s own pros.
Qualifiers, who don’t cash in the Main Event and register, will be able to take part in a $10k Second Barrel Freeroll, which kicks off online at Full Tilt Poker on August 18.
The unfortunate player who falls on the bubble of the Main Event will receive a FTOPS XXIII Main Event ticket worth $635. Full Tilt’s qualifiers will also be able to take advantage of the VIP-style Full Tilt Poker Bus, which will ferry players between the two venues of the Festival.
