Get Ready for PokerStars’ MicroMillions 6

PokerStars’ MicroMillions, the online poker series aimed at low bankroll, everyday players, has reached its 6th edition. Set to kick off on November 14, the MicroMillions have been giving small-timers a shot at big time
online poker glory for years now and this time around, they will hand out $5 million in guaranteed prizes. Of course, considering the popularity of the series, and that there will be no fewer than 100 events in this edition, it is safe to assume that much more than that will be given away.
Once again, the MicroMillions will offer something for everyone: the buy-ins will range from $0.11 to $22 and the tournament structures will be extremely diverse as well.
Event #1, the $0.11 NLHE one for instance, will offer six-minute levels and the option to re-buy. The guarantee on this one is $15k, but again – it’s likely the guarantee will be left in the dust – so the eventual winner will most probably walk away with more than $1.5k.
As if the minute buy-ins weren’t enough of an attraction, PokerStars offers players the chance to satellite their way into the MicroMillions, which basically means that one can play for as little as one FPP.
Of course, not all the MicroMillions events will be as fast and as furious as the first one. There are plenty of events featuring a normal structure. Event #5 for instance features a $3.3 buy-in and it offers a $25k guarantee. It is a 6-max
NL Holdem tournament, with a regular structure.
Besides the 100 events, the MicroMillions 6 has a little extra up its sleeve too: the person to win the MicroMillions leader board will be rewarded with free entry into the famous Sunday Million for 6 whole months. That reward alone is probably worth playing in as many MicroMillions events as possible…
