online poker operation currently in existence is about to celebrate its 50 billionth dealt hand. While the milestone is indeed a nice one, all a red-blooded poker player should care about is what sort of
promotions PokerStars will run to celebrate, and the extra value in these poker promotions. Rest assured, there’s plenty of extra dough to pick up at PokerStars as the site is breaking open the piggybank to make the occasion a really memorable one.
Play at any of PokerStars cash game tables (if you do not yet have a PokerStars account, hurry up and sign up now), and you’ll get the chance to take down a minimum of $500 in case you’re lucky enough to be dealt into the 50 billionth hand. Here’s how the deal works: all those who are at the table at which the 50 billionth hand falls, will receive a $500 award for each and every VIP point they’ve generated over the 50 hands preceding the milestone one. In case you haven’t racked up a single VIP point, you’ll get the minimum of $500, but the possibilities are quite impressive here.
That’s not all though. Each of the players at the table receives an entry to the WCOOP’s Main Event, worth a massive $5,200. The WCOOP Main Event takes place on September 26th so winners will barely have to wait to turn that buy-in into quite possibly the biggest payout of their lives.
The winner of the 50 billionth hand shall be rewarded as well: he’ll walk away with a $50k prize on top of everything else.
Before the 50 billionth hand is reached, players participating in every 1 millionth hand will be rewarded as well, with $50 for every VIP Point earned during the previous 50 hands.
