According to Michael Harris of Americas Cardroom, the addition of the high roller event has been prompted by the massive success of the Online Super Series III, in the wake of which many players requested that a regular high roller event be added.
The $20k High Roller will kick off at 6:00 PM ET, every Sunday and it will feature 20-minute blind levels, and starting stacks of 100k chips. Late registration will be available for 3 hours after the start of the event. The $50k Sunday Guarantee may overlap with the high roller, but players are allowed to play in both events simultaneously.
