With the
2014 WSOP but a distant memory and with all the major online series slowly wrapping up for the year, the time is just right for the iPOPS, an online tournament-based series hosted by Winner Poker (among other iPoker rooms). The 7th edition of the wildly successful iPOPS will offer no less than €1 million in guaranteed prizes. The Main Event – which is obviously the highlight of the Series – offers a guarantee of €300k.
The iPOPS kicks off on October 20, and it wraps up on November 9 with the above-said main event.
Obviously, buying directly into the events is possible and for those who cannot make use of one of the online qualifiers, it is the only way. There are however quite a few online qualifying possibilities running for the iPOPS, starting on Monday, October 13.

Depositors are given no fewer than 3 other outstanding opportunities to secure tickets for the various events. There will be 3 freerolls running, every one of them awarding iPOPS tickets as well as cash prizes. To qualify for the freerolls, players need to make a minimum deposit of €10, during the week leading up to the freeroll they wish to qualify for. The first freeroll, which takes place on October 19, hands out 100 Mini Main Event entries, in addition to €2k in cash.
The second freeroll (taking place on October 26), features 50 Main Event entries and some €2.5k in cash. The third and last freeroll offers 50 Main Event entries as well, together with €2.5k.
One important thing that players need to know about these freerolls is that they’re all capped at 5,000 participants. The tokens awarded by the qualifiers can only be used in iPOPS events.
The first event of the Series is the €40k High Roller of the iPOPS, which features a $75 buy-in and takes place on October 20.
The cheapest event of the Series is the third event, the €10k GTD, which takes place on Wednesday, October 22, and which costs only €1 to enter. The tournament features rebuys coupled with a multi-entry structure.
The most expensive event is €100k High Roller, which costs €250 to enter. Featuring a freezout format with multiple entries, the High Roller is scheduled for Monday, November 3.
