The International Championship of Poker at InterPoker is only a couple of weeks away, and if you’re not yet excited, you don’t know enough about it!
InterPoker is hosting the second International Championship of Poker and with over €250,000 of prizes to be given away, this is something that you will want to be playing in. If the only thing that’s stopping you is the buy-ins that poker championships often come with, then this is your lucky day; the International Championship of Poker (ICOP) is designed especially so that every-one can enter. Each of the 7 events making up the ICOP has a buy-in of just €20. This of course doesn’t effect the guaranteed prize pool, with the majority of the events guaranteeing €20,000, one at €50,000, and the Finale at a huge €100,000.
Even though the buy-ins are very low, there are none-the-less satellites running for each of the events. Each day sees satellites being run for a different one of the ICOP events. Satellites for the Finale will be running every day of the week, 5 times a day. The buy-ins for the satellites start at just €3 + €0.30. In addition to the tournaments themselves, there will also be an InterPoker ICOP leaderboard with a $15,000 prize pool to be paid out to the top 30 players in the leaderboard.
The ICOP will be running at InterPoker from March 1st to March 7th – so whether it’s qualifying, or writing the dates in your diary, you’d better get a wriggle on as it will be underway before you know it.
