Charles Darwin seemed to think of everything, but did he think of poker players? InterPoker certainly has with their Survival of the Fittest poker tournament series.
The Survival of the Fittest at InterPoker will separate the 3 legged horses from the roaring lions and one Hunt-Master will survive them all. The tournament series will be running at the online poker site from November 7th through to November 13th and will consist of a different tournament each day. The series gets off to a roaring start with a €30 buy-in €10,000 Headhunter SH, and is followed the following day by a €4,000 Headhunter with a buy-in of just €5. The most expensive tournament will be the November 13th €80 buy-in Headhunter with a guaranteed prize pool of €50,000 whilst the cheapest is to be held on November 3rd with a buy-in of just €3. As a Survival of the Fittest theme may suggest, each member of the online poker community is pitted against each other – the more opponents you take out, the better you’ll do, and of course you’ve got to keep your head in the game.
InterPoker is adding an extra bit of excitement to the Survival of the Fittest promotion; they have added an extra €6,000 of prizes, for 2 leaderboards, bringing the total collective prize pool for the series up to €87,000. The two leaderboards will each have a prize pool of €2,500 including a first place prize of €500; the first leaderboard is for the most heads taken, whilst the second is for the top MTT finishes. If you’re thinking that those two prize pools don’t add up to €6,000, you’d be absolutely right. InterPoker is keeping back €1,000 for a special prize. The winners of each of these leaderboards will face each other in a Heads-Up tournament. It is from this tournament that the Hunt-Master of the online poker community will be recognised, and he or she will walk away with a cash bonus of €1,000.
