JC Tran Becomes 888Poker Pro

November Niners always represent a hot commodity in the online poker world as all the big sites are looking to have their colors flown for them at the final table of the largest poker tournament in the universe. One after another, all the November Niners have gotten patched up. The latest player to have his services snatched up by an online poker room is JC Tran, who just signed with 888Poker, so come November, he will be representing the site at the final table. Jay Farber and Michiel Brummelhuis have already signed with 888 too, so Tran won’t be the sole representative of the operator in the home stretch of the Big Dance. Through this move, Tran also joins Australian cricket legend Shane Warne, Jesse Sylvia, Russell Thomas and Sam Holden – all of them already established names within the 888Poker household.

By successfully patching up JC Tran, 888Poker have secured the best mathematical odds to have the eventual winner of the event sport their colors, after all, with 38 million chips to his name, Tran is the official chip leader. Of course, Tran’s duties as an 888Poker ambassador will extend above and beyond the Main Event. He will continue to represent the brand at various high-profile live poker events world-over.
Tran already plans to attend the WSOPE in Paris, and if he does so, he will doubtlessly do it as an 888Poker ambassador.

The 36-year old, who was born in Vietnam and currently lives in Sacramento, California, has said that he was excited to represent the 888 brand and that he was looking forward to give it as much exposure as he could. The first step in that direction would obviously be the winning of the Main Event. Before the final table, Tran is looking to spend as much quality time with his family as possible.
