Jonathan Duhamel Wins $111,111 ONE DROP

When it comes to WSOP bracelets, Jonathan Duhamel doesn't fool around: he now has two bracelets and his haul outweighs just about anyone else's. No, his bling did not come from some side-events and neither of his prizes were below the $1 million mark. His first one came in 2010, when he won the Big Dance and his second one a few hours ago, when he took down the $111,111 High Roller for ONE DROP for a ~$4 million haul. The exact count on his prize was $3,989,985, and he bested a starting field of 135 players to get to it.
Indeed, given the size of the buy-in, it was quite impressive that the high roller managed to draw 135 competitors. Needless to say, every one of the participants was a "name" player one way or the other. The final day of the event saw 46 players return to play down to a winner. With so few participants, the money-bubble was set rather high up the ranks. Sorel Mizzi, Paul Volpe, Erik Seidel, Ben Tollerene and Jason Koon all busted with nothing to show for their efforts, not to mention Justin Bonomo, who became the official bubble-boy of the tournament.

Max Altergott was the first one to finish in the money: he took home $251.6k for his 16th place. Joseph Cheong, David Sands and Talal Shakerchi followed him to the rail. Byron Kaverman fell next, followed by Brian Hastings and John Racener. Andrew Lichtenberger was the first victim of the final table. The one Duhamel disposed of heads-up for the title was Bill Klein. Klein picked up $2.46 million. Two more players finished in 7 figures: Daniel Colman, whose 3rd place was worth $1.54 million, and Ben Sulsky, who finished 4th for $1.1 million.
