Believe it or not, one of the major attractions of an online poker room is the freeroll selection it offers. Players are generally intrigued by the idea of getting something for nothing, and freerolls fit beautifully into that picture.
Mansion Poker has its own set of freerolls too, and although some require FPPs to enter, they all provide excellent EV for all participants. Some of their freerolls are available for everyone to enter, and the prize-pools on these aren’t stingy either.
Every day, those who have registered with the room in the last 90 days, can participate in a beginners’ freeroll which offers $50 up for grabs. The prize-pool may not be overly generous, but at least you know you’ll only be playing against other rookies.
At 17:35 each day, there’s another $50 freeroll, however this one costs 100 Mansion Club Points to enter. The EV is probably worse in these freerolls than in the beginners’ ones because you’ll be playing against seasoned players here for the same – relatively meager – prize pool.
Beginners get another – even better – opportunity each day at 17:50 to play against other rookies for a prize pool of $100 this time.
The daily $100 freeroll is open to all comers, and that may be the very reason why it loses some value for the individual participants. $100 offered up completely free is rather generous although it’s not exactly the best the industry has to offer.
The weekly $1,000 freeroll though, which is also open to all comers and takes place every Saturday is on par with what the best out there entice players with. $1,000 is something to play for, even if the field is loaded with bad players, sharks, rookies and those who do not intend to take play seriously.
Every Saturday there’s also a $500 PL Omaha freeroll to which the buy-in costs 300 MCPs.
