New Satellite Buy-in Options at Absolute Poker

Satellites are the most accessible means of entry for many online and offline tournaments, but how accessible are the satellites? The answer is “very” at Absolute Poker.

The sign of a good poker site, or any online venue for that matter is the trait of listening to the customers’ needs and responding appropriately; this is exactly what Absolute Poker have done this month with their satellite buy-in options.

As of January of 2010, Absolute Poker is making it easier than ever to buy-in to various event satellite tournaments.  Satellites as we know are a fantastic way of getting into those big prize poker tournaments without having to pay the enormous buy-ins, however the buy-ins themselves for the satellites have often been unimaginative, inaccessible, and stagnant – this has now changed!

As of January 2010, Absolute Poker is offering a greatly widened array of means of buying into those tournament satellites that you’ve always wanted to enter. Absolute Poker will now open up event satellites to buy-ins of not just cash but also tournament dollars and AbsolutePoints. Thus the satellites themselves are more accessible, but also your AbsolutePoints are more useable, as you no longer have to wait for special events in order to use them.

The news of the new satellite buy-in options couldn’t come at a better time.  The UBOC is drawing to an end; an online championship that Absolute Poker ran many satellites for.  The UBOC is one of many online and offline tournaments that Absolute Poker promotes and runs satellite tournaments for; satellites that will now be more open to all.
