Official EPT Deauville Schedule Announced

With the PCA upon us, it was indeed high-time for the EPT to finally announce the official schedule of its Deauville stop, the next one on the Season 10 calendar. As it has lately grown to be the norm, the Deauville stop of the EPT’s Season 10 will be a genuine poker festival, including a total of 45 events.
Kicking off on January 22, the Deauville stop will include the Grand Final of the France Poker Series (in fact, the FPS main event will be the first one of the stop, starting on January 22). The FPS Grand Final consists of a Main Event which costs €1.1k to enter, as well as a High Roller, featuring a buy-in of €2.5k.
Of course, the Deauville stop as a whole will also feature a High Roller, which costs a massive €10.3k. The highlight of the Series is obviously the €5.3k Main Event, which is always expected to beat all previously set records.
Last year, the winner of the Main event was Remi Castaignon, who bested a starting field of 782 players on his way to the top of the pops and the €770k top prize.

To round things out, the Deauville Poker Festival will also play host to the 12th GPI European Poker Awards, a series of ceremonies through which awards will be handed out to the best European poker players of 2013.
According to the GPI’s Alexandre Dreyfus, the European Poker Awards are set to bring recognition to European players who have turned in the best performances over the past year. The event will be an open one: the press as well as the public at large will be allowed to attend, not to mention poker players from all walks of life and from every corner of the continent.
Sign up to PokerStars today and make your way to the EPT 10’s Deauville stop through one of the online qualifiers which are still running.
