Online Poker Action – Ben Sulsky Wins Big

Despite all the interesting live poker action going on in various corners of the world, last week did not disappoint online poker-wise either. Most of the nosebleed stakes regulars saw action and three of them finished the stretch $300k richer than they had entered it. For these guys to win, there had to be some pretty solid losers too, and indeed, there were three guys who dropped around $300k each. Most of the big money was turned over at the $200/$400 tables, where the likes of Ben Sulsky, Andrew Grimason and Ben Tollerene locked horns. The biggest winner of the week was Sulsky, who played 55 sessions totaling 6,461 hands, ending up with an overall profit of $398.1k. Ben Tollerene did well too. As a matter of fact, given that he only played 2,504 hands for a $367.4k profit, Tollerene was a much more efficient player than Sulsky.
Andre Grimason known by the online moniker ‘EireAbu’ rounded out the top 3 with a profit of $309.6k. Grimason’s achievement carried added significance too: it positioned him at the top of the yearly profit leader-board, ahead of Sulsky and Bernard-bb.

The biggest loser of the same stretch was ‘Zypherin’ who may have fed more than one bankroll with his $537.6k loss. He played 20 sessions totaling 4,420 hands in order to achieve this counter-performance. Several other players dropped massive amounts of money. A player known as ‘RaiseOnce’ came in second on the losers’ list of shame, having dropped $347.9k. Andrew Millar was unlucky as well: he ended up dropping $299.4k. yiyi01 and ‘1Il|1Il|1il|’rounded out the top of the losers list, having lost $292k and $281k respectively.

On Friday, there was quite a bit of $200/$400 PLO action at PokerStars. David Eldar was the one who emerged with a massive win there, having collected $276k, mostly from the above mentioned Zypherin.
On Wednesday, Sahamies played Andre Millar and Ben Sulsky. Both Sahamies and Millar ended up in the L-column.
