Ilari Sahamies can’t keep away from the
online poker tables. Regardless of whether there’s a WSOP going on or not, Sahamies is grinding away, and there are others like him too. Rui Cao was in action together with the Finn last week, but none of them managed to clinch the biggest winner of the week title. A player known by the online moniker ChaoRen160 was the one who finished the week with the largest profit. He logged 3,055 hands in 18 separate sessions, generating $225,777 in profits. Phisherman36 had a nice week as well: he finished $156,617 above the red line. Another major winner was mickan1984, who pocketed $130,452.
Phil D’Auteuil made the winners’ list yet again, although this time, he failed to make it past the 100k profit mark.
The biggest loser of the week, one of the players who fed the above listed winners, was PimpyLimpy, who dropped around $153k. A player known as altiFC was also a major loser, having shed $115.9k.
Chaoren160’s big day was Thursday when he locked horns with wilhasha at the $50/$100 NL Holdem tables. Chaoren160 finished the day as by far the biggest winner, having accumulated $160k in profits.
Tuesday saw all the big names come out: Phisherman36 was playing, together with Sahamies and Cao. Cao played against Phisherman36 at the $50/$100 PLO tables. The largest pot of their session was a $62.2k one, which landed on Phisherman36’s side of the virtual table. Having dropped quite a bit of money to Phisherman36, Cao then locked horns with Sahamies, dropping around $33k to the Finn too.
Sahamies’ good run continued on Wednesday, when he won around $36k from David Eldar. Sahamies then dropped some money to Cao to drop off the biggest winners’ list.
Theo Jorgensen and Ignat Liviu both made the losers’ list, having dropped $104 and $71k respectively.
EireAbu remains the biggest winner of the year thus far with a profit totaling $2.65 million.
