The
online poker action saw no slowing down since the end of the WSOP gave it a truly massive jolt. Last week, most of the regulars were in action yet again and the sums that changed hands weren’t small at all. The biggest winner of the week was a player known by the online moniker ChaoRen160. He managed to finish $467.5k richer, after 46 different sessions totaling 3.5k hands.
There were other big winners who took home similarly impressive hauls: Ben Tollerene was one of them with a $343.9k profit, which he took down in 9k hands spread over 116 sessions. A player known as Gozoboro also won pretty big, talking home $325.5k. Alex Millar made the winners’ list as well. He took home $293.9k.
The biggest winner of the previous week, Joeri Van der Sman, failed to follow up his winning week with another one. He finished among the losers this time, dropping around $307k. He almost made the top spot, but patpatman eventually beat him to it by dropping $413.2k. Daniel Cates dropped more than $400k too: he finished $410.5k below the red line.
Some of the money that ChaoRen610 managed to amass came from Jannick Wrang, whom he locked horns with on Friday. The session took place at the $50/$100 PLO tables, and it saw ChaoRen160 walk away with a $154k profit, which made him the biggest winner of the day. Wrang on the other hand dropped $171.8k to become the biggest loser of the day.
While Friday definitely belonged to ChaoRen160, Saturday went to 5tgb6yhn7. His winnings amounted to $297.7k and he was busy in the $200/$400 PLO games. Interestingly enough, Joeri Van Der Sman was the biggest contributor to his haul.
Much of the money that Cates lost went to Alex Millar on Wednesday. Millar took down $185.3k in that session.
The biggest year to day winner is still EireAbu, who is $3.4 million above the red line.
