Online Poker Action – Heinecker’s Heater Continues

Niklas Heinecker of Germany has stolen quite a few headlines through his poker playing career, but over the last couple of weeks, he made the news on account of the sensational run he managed to put together at the high stakes online poker cash tables. Last week, he finished as the most profitable player, his bankroll $411.7k bigger than it had been before. This week, he kept up the pace and managed to yet again win big, ending up with a $407.3k profit. For that haul, the German put in 4,015 hands spread over 28 different sessions. Interestingly enough, despite the impressive nature of his profits, they were still not enough to make Heinecker the biggest winner of the week. That title was sniped away by Frenchman Rui Cao, who played 28 sessions of his own, totaling 6,820 hands, but walked away with profits totaling $498.4k.
SallyWoo was one of the big winners as well: he finished with a $390.2k profit, having logged only 1,801 hands. Ben Tollerene made the winners’ list too ($312.6k), together with no_Ola and Denoking ($260.9k and $234.7k respectively).

Wherever there are winners, there have to be losers as well. This week, the biggest loser was none other than Full Tilt Poker’s Viktor Blom, who was probably single-handedly responsible for the financing of several of the above listed winners, having dropped $909.3k, over 8,377 hands.
None of the other losers came even close to Blom’s meltdown, but frankly, none of them could probably handle the sort of swings the Swede subjects his bankroll to on a weekly basis anyway. Doug Polk was the second biggest loser, having dropped $332.1k. Kagome Kagome joined Polk and Blom on the losers’ list, his losses tipping the scales at $201.4k. Alexander Kostritsyn dropped quite a bit of money too: he lost 185.8k.
Play at Full Tilt Poker and take part in some of the biggest cash games in online poker. You can also railbird the big boys in real time.
