Online Poker Action – Jens Kyllonen up $500k

The high stakes online poker tables were yet again red hot at PokerStars over the past week. In addition to the WCOOP – which is still rolling downhill, gathering more and more momentum – some pretty hefty cash games sprung up, including $200/$400 PLO, which obviously resulted in some more than decent sums changing hands among the high stakes protagonists. The player who logged the largest profit this week was Odd_Oddsen, whose haul tipped the scales at $707.3k. He played quite a lot to take down that sort of money though: he logged 328 different sessions totaling 31,074 hands. Odd_Oddsen wasn’t the only big winner though. Jens Kyllonen made the top of the winners’ list too: he logged a profit of $591.6k in 198 sessions and a total of 12.8k hands.
Alex Millar won $491.3k too. Ben Sulsky played as well, and he left the tables $443k richer too, a move which propelled him back to the top of the year-to-date leader board by about $400k.

Gus Hansen once again represented the opposite end of the spectrum. For the second consecutive week, he was the biggest loser, having dropped $600.1k. mtvdeuem, last week’s biggest winner, lost quite a bit too: he shed $598k, nearly beating Hansen out of the top spot. Patpatman, who is usually also a regular among the winners, had a bad week too: he lost $587.4k this time around.
Alex Millar has always been known as a NL Holdem specialist and last week he cemented his reputation by destroying patpatman at the $200/$400 NL Holdem tables. The two went head to head on Sunday and played two rather short-ish sessions, both of which clearly went Miller’s way. The first one lasted about 250 hands and it saw Millar finish with a profit of $117k. The second one was larger. After 400 more hands, Millar added $260 more to his winnings.
Sunday’s biggest pot went to Kyllonen though, who took Hansen apart at the $200/$400 PLO tables.
