Online Poker Action – Sulsky Shoots Past $3 Million Mark

Despite all the live poker attractions currently working their magic in different parts of the world, the high stakes online poker tables saw a flare-up of the action over the week. Ben Sulsky played and he did so quite profitably indeed. He finished about $172k above the red line, a nice addition to his bankroll and one which took his year-to-date winnings clean over the $3 million mark, consolidating his lead. Sulsky was not the biggest winner of the week by a long-shot though. In fact, he was only 5th on the winners’ list. The one who logged the biggest profit was “1Il|1Il|1il|”, who finished $498.9k richer despite the fact that he’d dropped quite a bit of money to a surging Jens Kyllonen. “1Il|1Il|1il|” played 13,968 hands spread over 204 different sessions for that money.
Odd_Oddsen had an excellent week as well. He finished second on the winners’ list with a profit of $317.7k. Following him in 3rd place was Ben Tollerene, whose $232.k came at the end of 152 sessions totaling 5,411 hands.
“Gozoboro” finished ahead of Sulsky as well: he won $188k in 9,739 hands spread over 134 different sessions.

With all these big winners, there had to be plenty of big losers as well. This week, Andreas Torbergsen topped the list of shame with a loss of $466.7k. Torbergsen really did go out of his way to try to turn things around, logging 10,147 hands, but it just wasn’t meant to be. A player known by the moniker “KPR” was the second biggest loser, having dropped $337.9k over only 1,890 hands.
“altiFC” was third on the losers’ list with a deficit of $198.1k. He was followed by “M.O.P.”, who lost $181.2k in 5,767 hands. On Sunday, Ben Sulsky logged a win of $214.4k, cementing his position atop the year-to-date winners’ list, getting the better of EireAbu yet again and taking his total profits past the $3 million mark. The biggest year-to-date loser remains Zypherin, with -$2.88 million to his name.
