Online Poker Action: Viktor Blom Biggest Loser

With all the live poker majors like the Aussie Millions running, it didn't come as a surprise that the volume of high-stakes
online poker action wasn't particularly impressive this week. The going was indeed slow at PokerStars as well as at Full Tilt Poker, but some players - among them Viktor Blom - still found ways to lose a lot of money. Others won big. The biggest winner of the week was a relative unknown. JayP-AA managed to amass some $204.5k in profits, enough to earn him the title of the biggest winner this time around. Interestingly, JayP-AA's profits came from PokerStars - not usually the home of the biggest winner. Elior Sion was among the winners as well: his $128.9k were enough for second place. Rami Boukai was 3rd with some $101.7k, while Michael Weisbrod made it to 4th place with $92.7k, not even breaking through the 100k barrier.

As said above, the losers' end of the spectrum was represented by Viktor Blom, who dropped some $116.5k - not exactly a disaster by his standards. The bigger problem for the Swede is however that his latest losses tossed onto the pile, he is currently the biggest loser of the year. Last week, he lost $317.8k.
January 25-26 was definitely Trueteller's day though: the Russian amassed some $345.6k during that period, grabbing headlines left and right. Interestingly, he accomplished the deed in a really efficient manner too: he only logged two sessions totaling 532 hands for the above said sum. Trueteller doesn't currently have his earnings tracked though, so it's quite unclear at this point how he's fared thus far in 2015. Most of his money during the above said period came from Cort Kibler-Melby.
