Party Poker’s Snowball promotion

If there is a newsworthy online poker promotion out there, this one has to be it. Party Poker’s Snowballing again, and guess who’s the main beneficiary of all the freeroll entries, tournament buy-ins and cash prizes? The players of course. Once you start rolling downhill at Party Poker, before you know it you gather up a thick crust of value around you. If you generate just 5 Party Points in February, you get a $5 freeroll entry. As you climb the ladder by generating more and more points, you will not have to relinquish any of the prizes you have already secured. The real deal starts at 300 poker points: that’s where you pick up your first cash prize. It may only be a meager $3, but it is only a herald of bigger prizes to come. As you accumulate more and more points, the cash prize increases as well. The most you can get is $5k, but for that you need to generate 75k points. Of course, this prize includes all the previous cash rewards as well as the freeroll entries, so you’ll actually receive $10k, plus a bunch of opportunities to win more in the various freerolls you’ll also qualify for.

If you’re yearning for tournament laurels, you’ll be pleased to know that you’ll be able to fulfill your tourney aspirations too at Party Poker (and we’re not talking about online tournaments only). Qualifiers for the WPT’s Vienna stop are already under way. The live poker event will take place at the Montesino Casino in Vienna and it kicks off in March. The package that you’ll be able to secure through Party Poker is worth $7k, and it includes $4,600 to cover the buy-in for the Main Event as well as an additional $1,400 you can spend any way you see fit. Direct access qualifiers cost $375 to enter, but qualifying is possible for much less too of course.
