PartyPoker Announces NJCOP II Schedule

PartyPoker are certainly busy cooking up online promotions left and right, and while most of their efforts are still focused on the European market, they do have a market-nook secured in the US, in New Jersey and they are keen on hanging on to it and expanding their presence if possible. Despite some bad news seeping out of the US online poker markets in recent weeks, it's business as usual for PartyPoker, who have just announced the schedule of their second New Jersey Championship of Online Poker. The event will take place between April 16 and 26, featuring enough action to fill its 10 days to the brim.
There will be no fewer than 32 poker tournaments, offering guarantees totaling more than $1 million. Indeed, in light of the above numbers, the second edition of the NJCOP marks a giant leap forward: the first NJCOP had only 15 events and its guarantees totaled some $600k.

The Series - as one would expect - will culminate in a Main Event on April 26, the buy-in to which is $200. The guarantee on the table in the Main Event is $150k, not exactly a monster in online poker terms, but certainly impressive for a New Jersey online series.
The buy-ins to the other events range from $50 to $1k, and there will be online satellite feeders running for the majority of the tournaments, making it possible for players to earn a seat for a fraction of its actual cost. NL Holdem will of course dominate the schedule, but there will be PLO, Omaha Hi/Lo and Seven-Card Stud events as well. To make a long story short: it will be a full online Series with all the bells and whistles, the biggest to be held in the recently legalized US markets.
