January is set to be a poker heaven at Americas Cardroom when the on line poker sites Online Super Series returns for a second time, bringing $1 million of prizes.
Some of you may recall that in November we drew your attention to the launching of the Online Super Series at Americas Cardroom. Well it was such a booming success that it’s back, or rather it will be come January 12th. The OSS II will consist of 82 events with more than a million dollars in prize money over 15 days. Included in the on line poker sites 82 events will be something for every pocket and every taste with a nice combination of holdem and Omaha and highly varied stakes levels.
The Online Super Series will run at Americas Cardroom from January 12th through till January 27th and will conclude with a $200k Gtd Main Event for those who play holdem on January 27th. One of the great things about the Online Super Series is that the buy-ins start at very modest prices. For example you can play in Event 76 a $2k GTD event for a buy-in of just $3.
For the on line poker sites members who prefer to play Omaha than to play holdem, there are thirteen Pot Limit Omaha events on the schedule in total. The first one will take place at 8.30 pm on January 13th and will be a $3,000 GTD event with a $25 + $2.50 buy-in, whilst the final event of the series will be exactly the same. Mixed in with the 82 events there will also be satellite tournaments. For example on January 19th players can play holdem for one of 100 seats guaranteed in the $200 $150k GTD Event #42.
In short, if you like to play holdem or Omaha, and you like to play for money, make a note in your diary: The OSS II is coming!
