They’ll be no April Fools at Americas Cardroom this month; so long as members take advantage of the Sunday 50k guaranteed tournaments in the Liberty Weekend series.
Americas Cardroom has taken it upon itself to celebrate the rights of poker players across the land to play on line poker, and in order to do so are running weekly special tournament weekends, each with an enormous guaranteed prize pool of $60k – it seems that in Americas Cardroom the streets really are paved with gold!
The Liberty Weekends will run each week from March 31st and throughout the month of April , and each weekend is worth $60k in guaranteed prize pools for those that play holdem in them. That $60k weekend prize pool is made up of one $10 guaranteed prize pool tournament to be held on the Saturday, and then an enormous $50k Guaranteed prize pool tournament to be held at 6 pm each Sunday. The direct buy-in for the $50k guaranteed tournament is $200 + $15, but players can qualify for it through satellite tournaments that will run on the same day as the tournaments which start from just $22 + 2. Americas Cardroom is really doing everything possible to encourage their on line poker members to take part in these huge Liberty Weekend tournaments. On each Sunday there are a whopping 17 feeder tournaments for the $50k Gtd. Not only are the satellite tournaments plentiful, they are also varied. Americas Cardroom is running Re-entries, R/A, and Hyper Turbo tournament structures, so there’s an on line poker format to suit every member of the site.
For those of you that hadn’t noticed, a year has past since the Black Friday events of 2011, in addition to which April contains a Friday 13th which might make some people a little superstitions about taking any risks. However Americas Cardroom is planning to change the luck of the month, by making sure that some poker players have the best April ever. To commemorate Black Friday, Americas Cardroom is inviting players to play holdem in the Liberty Quarter Million on April 15th; the guaranteed prize pool for this tournament will be $250,000 with a first place prize of $50,000 Gtd. On Friday April 13th, Americas Cardroom will run super satellites for the Liberty Quarter Million with 250 seats guaranteed – the buy-in for these satellites will be $36 + $3.
