Come October 27th the poker world will be congregating to play holdem at the Burlington Hotel in the Irish Winter festival Main Event which will run until October 29th. Mansion Poker will be represented by many members of its site, and those that make it there will be playing as part of an on line poker prize package won through super satellites. The prize package that Mansion Poker is making available is worth €1,800 and includes the main event buy-in, 4 nights’ accommodation at the Burlington Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis, and €329 towards flights and spending. Now you may think in order to play texas holdem for money in what may be the most fun offline poker event of the year you would need to spend a lot of money, but in fact that couldn’t be further from the truth.
Every Sunday at 20:00 Mansion Poker invites its members to play holdem in the Irish Winter Festival 2012 Super Satellite A. The direct buy-in for this weekly tournament is €130 + €10 and it has a Freezeout format. From each one of these tournaments 2 people will go on to play texas holdem for money in the Irish Winter Festival with the full prize package described above. Mansion Poker is also running less expensive on line poker satellites for the off line poker event however, and for these ticket-only super satellites you could find yourself playing in Dublin for as little as €20 + €2. Every Monday and Every Thursday at 20:00 Mansion Poker will be running Irish Winter Festival 2012 Super Satellites B and C; these tournaments have buy-ins of €20 + €2 and €80 + €8 respectively and the winner of each tournament will get entry to the main event, valued at €1,125.
