PokerStars Announce 2nd Asia Championship of Poker Schedule

Apparently, the second Annual Asia Championship of Poker is a go and PokerStars LIVE Macau have just announced the schedule for it. The ACOP is the top stop of the APPT (Asia Pacific Poker Tour) and it is scheduled to take place from October 18, 2013 till November 3, 2013, in Macau, the indisputable gambling capital of the Asia-Pacific region. For an APPT stop, the ACOP will indeed be extremely generous: in fact it will look like a respectable Series in its own right, with its 18 poker tournaments, of which no fewer than 12 will be championship events.
Known as ACOP title events, these tournaments will culminate in the Main Event, which features a buy-in of HK$100k (about $13k) and which will offer a guarantee twice as big as it did last time around. The guaranteed prize-pool that players will battle for in the Main Event will be $2.6 million, the biggest poker tournament guarantee in the whole of Asia.

The very first event of the Series is the HK$2.5k Rebuy Championship, which will feature a monster guarantee of its own: HK$500k. This will only be the warm-up round for those planning on taking advantage of as many guaranteed prize-pools as possible. The second event is the HK$11k Deep Stack Championship, which offers a guarantee of HK$1 million.
The ACOP Warm-up will be a two Day 1 event, featuring a buy-in of HK$25k and a HK$5 million guarantee.
On October 25, there will be a Ladies Championship Event, (featuring a HK$8k buy-in) and a HK$15K PLO Championship event as well. The HK$11k KO Big Bounty follows on October 26.
The Main Event kicks off on Monday, October 28, with the first of its two Day 1 flights.
There will be a HK$250k High Roller as well (kicking off on November 2).
