Playing at PokerStars always makes sense for a savvy poker player and the action is never boring, but the world’s largest site will never rest on its laurels, in its ongoing quest to offer the best possible experience to its players. Their November Mission Weeks promotion has added an entirely new dimension to the
online poker action offered by the site. Running over three weeks, the said promotion will give players the possibility to undertake five missions each week. The missions range from “very easy” to “advanced” and the potential rewards they carry are in direct proportion with the difficulty of the mission.
Once a player completes a mission- and it is indeed pretty easy to complete one of the “very easy” tasks – he gets a ticket to a truly special event called the “Mission All-in Shootout”. Its name very descriptive indeed, the Mission All-in Shootout is basically a gambling round, because players won’t actually be able to influence its outcome in any way, given that they will be put all-in automatically on every single hand, until a winner emerges from the melee.
For the “very easy” side of the mission-range, the Mission All-in Shootout will feature a $10k prize-pool, of which $1k will land in the winner’s account.
The “easy” mission offers a $30k prize-pool, with $3k going to the eventual winner. The “simple” missions feature a $75k prize-pool, of which $7.5k will end up in the winner’s possession. The “possible” mission offers a $150k prize-pool, with $15k going to the winner and last but certainly not least, the “advanced” mission gives players a $250k prize-pool, with $25k going to the winner.
Needless to say, the advanced mission events will probably be heavily populated with high-stakes pros, but since skill plays no part in the outcome, the playing field will indeed be as level as possible.
