While poker players are all quite aware of the EPT Prague’s approach, few of them are aware that this year, the EPT’s Czech stop will be but a small part of a massive series of mind sports and poker tournaments, called the Prague Mind Sports and Poker Festival 2013. Indeed, the Czech capital will play host to the largest event of this sort in the world, and its location is obviously key to the success of the games. It is close to Germany, which is the largest online poker and online gaming market in Europe. Beer is also cheap in Prague, plentiful and good too and the backdrop is pretty much second to none, especially upon the approach of the Holidays.
The Festival will play host to an impressive number of poker main events, like the Main Event of the Eureka Poker Tour, which kicks off on December 8 and features a buy-in of €1.1k.
The Grand is another €1.1k Main Event, starting on December 10, so those who bust out early from the Eureka Poker Tour Main Event will be able to register right away.
The big one is of course the Main Event of the
European Poker Tour, which gets going on December 12, and features a buy-in of €5.3k. Those interested will be able to satellite their way into the Main Event at the location, or online through
PokerStars.
To add the cherry onto the top of the Prague Mind Sports and Poker Festival 2013 cake, the Main Event of the WPT Prague will be there as well. Starting on December 15, this one features a buy-in of €3.3k and it will be hosted by the Card Casino Prague.
Online satellites to this event are available at a number of online poker sites, including PartyPoker.
Sign up to PokerStars and use their online satellites to make your way into the EPT Prague Main Event.
