Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open – Day 4 Report
Posted by: James Carter. - Wed, 2013-08-28 13:30
The 4th day of the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open’s $10 million Championship Event has achieved its objective: there are only 6 players left standing, set to return for the official final table. Start of the day chip leader Justin Bonomo has taken full advantage of his position and made it to the official final table in second place. Having put a whole bunch of buy-ins into the middle, Bonomo will now be able to rest assured that he will end up making a profit, although at this stage and with the kind of stack that he has, victory is probably the only thing on his mind.
The player who finished the day with the largest stack was Blair Hinkle, who had 22.8 million chips to his name when the day was called.
21 players returned to the tables at the beginning of the 4th day of the
poker tournament, and they were keen on getting something going, because it only took them around four hours to play down to the official final table. Chris Johnson was one of the early victims of the day: he bit the dust in 18th place, when he pushed all-in on nothing but a J-high and was kept honest by an opponent.
Mark Radoja started the day on a short-stack and he was eventually forced to commit, falling in 17th place. He had an Ac, 7c in his last hand against Hinkle’s K,Qo. He was followed to the rail by November Nine member Amir Lehavot, who staked his tournament life on a pair of Deuces and ended up called by Larry Klur who had pocket Ks.
Lehavot was followed to the rail by David Sands. Griffin Benger, Ryan Olisar and Jeremy Kottler were all eliminated too. Ray Quartomy was the final table bubble-boy.
