Sunday Night has been a bit of a big spender evening at Americas Cardroom but not so anymore as the on line poker site introduces the Sunday Night Nickel.
For a long time Sunday Nights have been dominated at Americas Cardroom by the Sunday Night $50k guaranteed tournament, but now the Sunday Night $50k has a little brother who every-one is pleased to see – the Sunday Night Nickel. The Sunday Night Nickel is very similar to its big brother tournament, except that it simply costs considerably less to enter meaning that every one who wants to play holdem in it can do so.
The Sunday Night Nickel will run each and every Sunday Night at Americas Cardroom where the fun will kick off at 8 pm ET. The direct buy-in for the on line poker tournament is a tiny $5 + $0.50, and this gets you a starting stack of 5,000 chips. Americas Cardroom has put in a guaranteed prize pool for the tournament of $5,000.
In comparison the Sunday Night $50k, has a direct buy-in of $200 + $15 and you get a starting stack of 10,000. The prize pool is of course guaranteed at $50k, and you can find satellite tournaments available at the on line poker site.
Of course, maybe you don’t want to pick between the two. Well Americas Cardroom has thought of that too. Whilst the two Sunday Night tournaments are very different, every member is able to play holdem in both of them as the $50k Guaranteed gets started at 7 pm ET, whilst the Sunday Night Nickel doesn’t get started until an hour later.
All in all the two tournaments guarantee that no-one will have a dull Sunday Night. Whether you like the rush of the big buy-in tournament, or appreciate the fun and security in a low-buy in tournament, your evening will be exciting and your week may just start in the best possible way!
