The Online Poker Week: JayP-AA Opts out of Tracking

Nowadays, it is apparently more and more fashionable for high stakes poker players to opt out of the online tracking of their profits/losses. It is indeed a rather touchy issue for most players to have matters as intimate as these posted publicly on a regular basis, so to a certain degree, it is indeed an understandable move. The latest player to join the ranks of those not tracked is the biggest cash game winner of the current year, JayP-AA, who only rose to prominence about a month ago, by overtaking Finland's Ilari Sahamies for the top spot. With JayP-AA out of the way, and with Sahamies still struggling with a bit of a losing streak, the one who now sits at the top of the official rankings is bbvisbadforme, who has some $851.1k amassed in profits this year.

Viktor Blom - who has been dealing with a rough stretch lately - exploded this week at Full Tilt Poker, locking up the biggest winner of the week title. He won $355.5k, having played only 1,107 hands, spread over 11 sessions. Also at Full Tilt, Ben Tollerene pocketed $115.5k, clinching the runner-up spot.
At PokerStars, the biggest winner of the week was a player known as "Educa-poker", who took down some $98.1k. Obviously, no one managed to climb over the $100k mark this week. Cort Kibler-Melby also saw action and ended up winning $83.9k, over just 168 hands, well enough for second place. At Full Tilt Poker though, things went really haywire for Melby, who ended up having a real meltdown, to the tune of $436.7k, a feat which thusly made him the biggest loser of the week overall.
