The Poker Grapevine – Full Tilt Gearing up for Re-launch

All signs seem to point to the fact that Full Tilt Poker is getting ready to re-launch soon. The
online poker operator has put out ads searching for professionals to fill some of its essential positions ahead of the big move. The company actually looking for personnel is Rational FT Services, a corporate entity which provides marketing, technical support and consulting services to Full Tilt Poker. The job openings include available positions in administration, finance, design, marketing and technology. There are apparently nearly a dozen Rational RT Services jobs available.
An even more telltale clue regarding the imminent re-launch of the operation is however the fact that according to members of the Full Tilt community, the site has begun emailing its players in order to request that they provide some kind of photo ID for identification purposes. The identification process is apparently part of the regulatory requirements of the Isle of Man licensing entity. According to the above said Full Tilt emails, once the site’s re-launch is complete – which will obviously come after the ID process is complete too – players will gain immediate and unrestricted access to their Full Tilt Poker accounts, which means they’ll be able to withdraw funds with immediate effect too.
The emails are indeed legit and their existence has been confirmed by Full Tilt Poker executives.
In other news: on Wednesday, 10 finalists have been announced for the
WSOP’s 2012 Poker Hall of Fame. The nominees have been appointed by the public at WSOP.com and they include John Juanda, Tom McEvoy, Scotty Nguyen and Chris Bjorin. Exactly who shall be inducted into the HoF is something that a special panel made up of current HoF members and media representatives shall decide. The timing of the Hall of Fame inductions is a special one too: they’ll be announced during the festivities surrounding the WSOP Main Event’s October final table.
