Nobody can accuse Party Poker of lack of ambition when it comes to promotions. Their latest and biggest promotion, called the World Domination is about players earning Party points and conquering cities all over the world with them. The promotion is currently in full swing but that doesn’t mean that those who are only now learning about it can’t take part: it will last till December 31, until all the world’s cities will be conquered.
For every 10 party points they earn, players conquer a city. Some cities come with surprise bonus rewards which are distributed randomly. The bonus rewards span a wide range: there are $20 cash rewards and $1k tournament entries. The normal rewards for conquering cities range from $75 to $1,100.
Those who keep conquering cities will eventually manage to conquer entire continents and that’s where the true prizes come into the picture. The minimum prize for continent conquerors is $2k. The most money one can earn through the promotion is $100k and that happens when he/she manages to conquer the entire world.
In other news: the Aussie Millions qualifiers are in full swing at
PartyPoker too. The Aussie Millions Main Event takes place from January 22 to 28 and PartyPoker offers $16k packages which include a whole bunch of extra perks on top of the Main Event seat. Qualifying for one of the packages is simple and it costs almost nothing. As a matter of fact, there are daily freerolls at Party Poker which give 25 players the opportunity to move on to the $2 sub-qualifiers from where they can progress further up the ladder.
Each package includes a $11.4k Main Event seat, plus accommodation at the Crown Promenade Hotel, and $2.5k in spending money to top it all off.
Satellites at PartyPoker will run for quite a while. Late birds will be able to catch the last Aussie Millions train on January 8.
