Yes, you read that right...Viktor Blom, who some weeks ago was among the biggest
online poker cash game losers of the year, is now the biggest winner and it looks like he's not about to slow down either. Defying all trends and odds, the Swede went on a $3 million tear in recent days to turn his 2015 completely around. Blom's run began towards the end of August, when at one point he had racked up some $909k in profits. In case you were wondering what he's been doing since: more of the same. During this period, he played a total of 186 sessions, which consisted of more than 33k hands. The only thing more astounding than the amount of effort he put in is the profit he managed to generate: $2,955,738. Given the fact that prior to these latest antics, Blom was some $408k in the green, he is now some $3.3 million within profit-land at PokerStars, an accomplishment which makes him by far the most profitable player of 2015.

August 25 was the best single day Blom has had in a while: he took home more than $1 million that day alone, after he started out by dropping $400k.
The second most profitable player of the year at this point is Ben Sulsky, who has some $1.2 million to his name. Most of Sulsky's winnings came over the last couple of weeks as well.
Representing the opposite end of the spectrum is the biggest loser of the year, Phil Ivey, who has thus far dropped $1.25 million at Full Tilt Poker and $929k at PokerStars.
