PartyPoker have always been known for their cutting edge promotions, but this time around they may have truly set a new record in this respect. Their November PS4 promotion is actually peddling a device which hasn’t even been launched yet. Regardless of that though,
PartyPoker players will still be able to pick up one PS4 every day, through the PlayStation4 Freerolls that the site runs through November. Indeed, one can end up walking away with a PS4 for absolutely nothing, save for a bit of invested time, poker skills and a touch of favor on Lady Luck’s part. Of course, given that PS4 will only be officially launched on November 15, winners won’t be able to pick up their consoles until then.
Even though there are no fewer than 30 PlayStation4 Freerolls running, the potential reward is just too enticing and there will obviously be players who won’t be able to get their dream consoles through these freerolls. For these guys, there will be other chances too: every day, there’s an $11 tournament which offers a guaranteed prize-pool of $4k or $8k (depending on when it’s actually taking place) and these guarantees will have a PS4 added every single day. Unlike the PS4 Freerolls, these events are not free, but they also give players a share of a guaranteed prize-pool on top of the coveted device.
PartyPoker seem to be swimming in PS4s though, as they have added a number of the devices to the prize-pools of some of their weekend majors too. The $5k 6-Max re-buy will be one of the
poker tournaments giving away a PS4, in addition to the $10k Super Bounty and the $200k Guaranteed.
Everything accounted for, it is safe to say that PartyPoker will indeed be awash with PS4s this November and for those playing there, this is indeed great additional value.
