The XIIIth season of the WPT hasn't even wrapped up yet, but those behind the tour are already busy cooking up the schedule of the following season. There are in fact two stops left of the current season: on April 16, the penultimate stop, the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown kicks off, wrapping up on April 22. The last stop of the season is the WPT World Championship, which takes place between April 25 and April 29. To make a long story short, the remainder of the month will indeed be a busy time for WPT players. The start of Season XIV is also not far off, in fact, those interested in playing in all the WPT events will barely have time for a breather.

The first stop of Season XIV is set to kick off on May 1 and it is scheduled to run till May 6. The scene of the action will once again be the popular Playground Poker Club, in Montreal, Quebec, and the main sponsor of the stop will once again be
PartyPoker. The Main Event of the stop is a CAD $3.5k affair, which will feature two day 1 flights and will allow re-entries on its second day too. What's more, players will be allowed to play both on Day 1A and Day 1B, eventually retaining their bigger day 1 stacks. Antonio Esfandiari is one of the "name" players who already confirmed that they will attend. Direct access live satellites will be available at the scene and online qualifiers are of course already running at PartyPoker, so if you're interested, that is the place to be.
