The Main Event of the 2015 edition of the WPT's Vienna stop is in the books and the winner is Konstantin Nanos of Germany, who walked away with the top prize of €150k. Nanos bested Vladimir Krastev of Austria heads-up for the title. The runner-up had a €103k payday, as none of the other participants managed to score in 6-figures.
The scene of the action was the Montesino Vienna Card Casino and the stakes were indeed high for those who returned to the final table on the last day of the
poker tournament. Sotirios Koutoupas was the first one to fall by the side, in the 3rd hand of the final day no less, when he lost most of his chips to Thomas Bichon. A couple of hands later, he was gone for good.

The next player to hit the rail was Gaelle Baumann. Krastev was the one responsible for the elimination of the first ever pregnant player to grace the tables of a WPT event.
Austria's Andreas Freund followed in 4th place, sent packing by the combined efforts of Thomas Bichon - who crippled him - and Vladimir Krastev, who then moved in for the kill. The day only 24 hands old, only three players were left standing.
France's Thomas Bichon was the next to go. His 3rd place worth €65k, he was bounced by Krastev, after both of them got reduced to short-stacks by the eventual winner.
Nanos had a massive chip lead at the beginning of the heads-up stage and sure enough, he took full advantage of it, piling on the pressure from the get-go. The last hand of the tournament saw Nanos' Jh,10h best Krastev's Ad, Qd.
