WSOP-E: John Gale Looking for Another 2015 Bracelet

Sunday saw the 4th day of the 2015 WSOP-E go into the books, with 2 events seeing action. One of these events was the Okoberfest, the €550 NL Holdem tournament, which was #2 of this year's Series. The Oktoberfest successfully played down to its final table on Sunday. The other event which saw action was the €3,250 8-handed PLO event, #3 on the schedule.
As said above, the Oktoberfest saw its field play down to the final 9 players - its official final table - and at the top of the chip counts, there was a very familiar name: John Gale is already a two-time
WSOP bracelet winner and he is definitely in prime position to attempt to take down a third one here. He finished the day with 2.89 million chips to his name, quite a bit more than second-place man Rodrigo Caprioli, who finished with 2.39 million.

Steve O'Dwyer was the one who finished in third place, his 2.23 million chips well enough to give him a more than comfortable advantage over the rest of the field. In fact, no one else even came close to the 1 million chip mark. Dietrich Fast of the US finished 4th, with just 732k chips. The last one to make the final table cut, and the official short-stack for what will probably turn out to be the last day of the event was Austria's Adrain Apmann, who only had 274k chips bagged.
Everyone at the final table is guaranteed a payday of €16.9k. The eventual winner however will walk away with €157.7k and a gold bracelet of course. A total of 2,144 buy-ins were registered by the tournament, and 173 players returned at the beginning of the second day of action.
