The high stakes online poker action has been steadily moving from Full Tilt Poker to PokerStars lately, to the point that these days, one can just about ignore whatever's going on at FTP in this respect. At PokerStars though, the action is still hot and there are still players who do battle for massive, 6-figure pots. One of these players is Viktor Blom, who managed to become the most profitable player of the last couple of weeks. Interestingly, Blom stuck it out at
Full Tilt Poker, logging some 6,158 hands over 70 different sessions at the site, eventually walking away with a profit of $245.3k. Other big winners during the same period were Ben Sulsky, John O'Shea and Phil Ivey. Ivey only played 5 sessions at PokerStars, totaling some 722 hands, but he still ended up with $150.9k in profits.

Wherever there are winners, there obviously have to be losers as well. During the above said time-frame, Jean-Robert Bellande was the one who dropped the most money: he lost some $168k, over 2,488 hands spread over 19 different sessions. Bellande played at PokerStars too.
The month of July was a true rollercoaster for Viktor Blom: he played 2-7 Triple Draw and Lady Luck was indeed quite generous with him now and then. On July 16 for instance, he took down $272.1k, enough to make him the biggest winner of the day.
A day later, Blom won even more: he banked $690.6k, playing a peculiar mix of games at Full Tilt Poker. On July 30 though, he played PLO and ended up dropping some $173,3k to a player known as "WithColor". Blom is still the biggest loser of the year, with $1.36 million.
