Qualifying has begun at Absolute Poker for the WSOP; there’s various ways of doing it, you just need to choose which one is best for you.
The World Series of Poker is coming ever nearer, and the online poker community is gearing up for getting there. Absolute Poker has a comprehensive system of qualifiers; you just need to pick which is best for you.
As always members of the Absolute Poker online poker community can use the Steps system to get where they want to go. The Steps tournaments allow you to enter a tournament for a very low or even free buy-in; you then step your way up to the direct qualifiers. Using the Steps system players can win a $12k WSOP package for as little as a dime.
Absolute Poker is running weekly Super Satellite tournaments each Wednesday and Sunday. Whilst the direct buy-in to these Super Satellite tournaments is $500 + 30, the online poker site is running daily feeder tournaments which run with buy-ins from $10 + 1 and up.
On June 12th and June 26th there will be 25-Seat satellites run by Absolute Poker. 25 isn’t the number of players in the satellite, but rather the number of $12k packages being awarded to members of the online poker community through each of these satellites. The online poker site is running these satellites with a buy-in of $500 + 30.
The World Series of Poker 2011 Main Event will begin on July 7th. Last year the WSOP Main Event was won by Jonathan Duhamel who’s first place prize was $8,944,310. In addition to the qualifiers themselves Absolute Poker is running The Series 2011 with extra incentives for qualifying; for example joining the Absolute Poker team and getting a cash payout just for showing up!
