August is here which means the August Hand Race at Betsson Poker; a race that might just change your life!
A new month brings with it new hopes and new dreams; dreams of a better future, a brighter bank balance, a winning hand. This August at Betsson Poker however, it's not the quality of your hand that matters but the quantity. As a new rake race gets underway, the top 2,000 players of the month could be finding themselves with a ticket to a share of $60,000.
The race is simple; play more than the rest, and you'll win. The rest in this case refers to anyone other than the top 2,000 finishers in the race, and winning in this case refers to entrance to a special $60,000 opportunity on September the 9th. There will be in total 4 tournaments running on September 9th, each for $15,000 – this is how it works. The top 150 finishers of the August race will fight it out at 20:00 CET for a part of one $15,000 pot. At 20:15 players 151st to 500th will compete for parts of their $15,000 pot. At 20:30 the next 500 finishers will fight it out, and at 20:45 the final thousand will fight it out. As you can see, whilst the pots are the same the number of players are less the higher the finishers are.
