Betsson Poker is right now offering a whole lot more than just great online poker; it’s offering its customers the chance to play in the Irish Poker Open.
The Irish Poker Open is one of the oldest and most established poker tournaments in the world, and Betsson Poker is sending players to take part in the 2010 event. The Irish Poker Open 2010 will run from April 1st to 5th in the Burlington Hotel, Dublin, and the Betsson Poker package that could get you there is worth $8,000. Each package will include the buy-in to the event, and money for travel and accommodation.
Starting soon there will be Live Qualifiers running at Betsson Poker. Each of the Live Qualifiers has a direct buy-in of $320, and there will be six in total. The first Live Qualifier will run on February 11th, whilst the final one will be on March 18th. Each of these Live Qualifiers will result in at least one of these Betsson Poker packages being awarded. The Irish Poker Open has been running since 1981 making it the oldest European No Limit Texas Hold’em tournament. Last year the event attracted 700 players and the first place prize of €600,000 was won by Christer Johansson of Sweden.
