The Power Race is on at Betsson Poker with cash prizes to be won, GSOP packages up for grabs, and it’s all happening right now at the online poker site.
Large cash prizes, live event packages, there’s everything to play for this month at Betsson Poker with the £125k August Power Race. The Power Race is made up of 2 leaderboard races; the first running till August 15th and the second from August 17th to August 30th. In order to be a contender in these Power Races you need to collect Race Points which can be done by playing a MTTs, Sit and Gos and cash games at the online poker site during the race period. Of course the more Race Points you earn the higher you will climb in the leaderboard; and of course the higher your position, the higher your cash prize will be.
The first place prize in each leaderboard is an enormous $7,500 and players right down to position 100 will get cash prizes. In total there will be $60,000 awarded from each of the leaderboard races in cash prizes by Betsson Poker. That’s not all however. The top 15 members of the online poker community in each leaderboard will be invited to take part in a $5,000 August Race Freeroll from which a GSOP Live Greece package will be awarded. The GSOP Live package is worth $3,600 and covers the event buy-in, accommodation, $700 towards travel expenses, and a VIP welcome party.
The first leg of the GSOP Live recently concluded in Manchester, England where the first place winner kirb18x walked away with a cash prize of $82,238. The series will next be hitting Greece in October, followed by Prague, Austria, and finally the Dominican Republic. Members of the Betsson Poker online poker community can qualify via Betsson Poker through Step tournaments starting at just $1.20.
