The clock is counting down the days until the next FTOPS gets underway, and with over $16 million to be won, that's a countdown worth taking part in.
The Full Tilt Online Poker Series has gone from strength to strength since its inception in August of 2006 when an eight event series hit the poker world with $1 million of prize pools, changing the poker calendar forever.
The fourteenth FTOPS is going to be a 25 event affair that will be getting under way on November 4th, and its promise of $16 million minimum in prize-pools is getting some feathers well and truly ruffled. It isn't just the money that gets people excited however; it's also the quality of the games, and the variety. You'll find amongst the 25 events knockout, shootout, and turbo; hold'em, Omahah, and Razz; buy-ins ranging from $120 to $500. And in addition to all this, each of the events will be hosted by one of the Full Tilt Poker pro players, and Full Tilt Poker offer additional prizes to any final table players including FTOPS merchandise.
The series will be getting underway with a $200 buy in No Limit Hold'em 6-max event with a $1,000,000 guaranteed prize-pool and will conclude with the Main Event and it's $2,500,000 guaranteed prize-pool on November 15th. Of course, in true Full Tilt Poker tradition, the direct buy-ins are most certainly not the only way of taking part in FTOPS events, and you can find satellites running from under $5. The last FTOPS Main Event was won by Poligraph, who beat 5,305 players and won over $450,000.
