It seems like the last FTOPS has barely wrapped up, but a new one is already on the horizon. The 19th edition of the online poker series hosted by
Full Tilt Poker will feature no fewer than 45 events and will award prizes out of a total prize-pool of more than $22 million. The reason why there will be 11 more events than in any other FTOPS in history is that there will be several multi-entry tournaments. Of the 9 such tourneys, 8 will feature various NL Holdem structures.
Another new event will be a true treat for high-rollers. The $10k+$300
NL Holdem heads-up event will be a two day affair, offering players the chance to truly make their skills count.
The initial starting stacks in this one will be extremely deep: no fewer than 300 blinds deep in fact. This event will be capped at 128, so if you plan to play in it, you shouldn’t waste any time.
The FTOPS XIX kicks off on February 6th, with a $200+$16 NL Holdem event which will feature a guaranteed prize-pool of $1 million. Several more events will take place on the 7th, including a $1,000+$60 NL Holdem 6-max event in which players will be able to battle it out for $1 million too.
The biggest guaranteed prize-pool of the series will be the one offered by the $600+$40 NL Holdem Main Event of course. We’re talking about a massive $3 million here.
Event #40, the $2,000+$100 NL Holdem 6-max Antes Event (which is also a 2-day one) will offer players a $2 million prize-pool.
Event #33 also offers $1 million and event #24 treats its players right too, offering them a cut of a $1.5 million guarantee.
