The 11th day of
Full Tilt Poker’s FTOPS XXII saw 3 more events added to the tally, and consequently, 3 more champions crowned.
Event #27, the $322 PLO Heads-up one, was the first of the day. It drew a starting field of 207 players, generating a $62.1k prize-pool. Given that the initial guarantee was a $50k one, the turn-out proved to be a more than decent one indeed.
The winner of the event was “juergensuz” who picked up $15.2k for his efforts. There weren’t any deals made in this event: the runner-up, Mark Radoja, took home $8.6k, which means that no one besides the winner managed to cross the 5-figure mark. Chris Brammer was another notable who finished high: he pocketed $2.32k for his 8th place.
Event #28, the $109
NL Holdem Super Turbo Knockout Re-Entry event, saw 684 players belly up to its virtual tables. The initial guarantee of $200k was handily covered: the resulting prize-pool exceeded the $223k mark.
There weren’t any deals made in this event either. The winner, Eduardo Carvalho, took home the $47.9k prize. He bested a player known as extassyman heads-up. The runner-up’s share of the prize-pool was a $31.4k one. Tommy Miller was the deepest-finishing notable (besides Carvalho of course): his 4th place was worth $17.1k.
Event #29, the $322 NL Holdem Super Turbo Knockout Re-Entry event, was the one which produced the biggest FTOPS winner of the day. A total of 939 players registered for this event, combining buy-ins for a prize-pool of $250k (they didn’t manage to cover the guarantee).
The winner was “Specunder” who didn’t give up any of his equity through a trade either: he took home the full $57.5k share of the winner. He edged out Chris McClung for the win. McClung’s share of the loot was $36.2k.
