On Monday, things were back to normal as far as the number of gold jerseys awarded by the FTOPS XXII went. Three more players earned their stripes at
Full Tilt Poker’s online tournament tables, one more than on Sunday. The biggest FTOPS winner of the day was a Swedish poker pro known by the online moniker “eisenhower1”. He won event #22, taking home the $91.5k top prize.
The first event of the day was event #21, the $109 PLO Rebuys one, which saw a starting field of 298 players belly up to its tables. The
poker tournament offered a $100k guarantee, which the field managed to cover and even slightly exceed: the resulting prize-pool was a $103k one.
The winner was Randy Hereman, who took home $25.7k for his efforts. Hereman bested ITrashYou heads-up. The second-place finisher was rewarded with a $16.4k prize. Jason Helder clinched 5th place, securing a $7.2k payday. Chris Moorman put in a deep run in the event as well: he finished 19th for $566.
Event #22 saw 445 players cough up the $1,060 buy-in. The resulting prize-pool was a $445k one. The winner was eisenhower1 as said above, who bested “o dascalos” heads-up. There was a heads-up deal made between the two players, which left the runner-up with an $88.6k prize. Evan Jarvis (10th place) was the highest finishing “name” player.
Like most of the FTOPS events lately, event #23 saw no deals made at its top. The winner, czlol, took home $50.1k. The share of the runner-up was $34.7k. Luke Vrabel was the highest finishing name player: he busted in 4th place, picking up $13.7k for his efforts. The top 6 finishers all took home 5-figure prizes.
Other deep-running notables were Daniel Chaule (16th place) and Mark Darner (23rd place).
