FTOPS XXII Schedule Announced

Full Tilt Poker have made quite a number of headlines lately for various reasons and fortunately – from the point of view of the
online poker community – all those reasons have been positive ones. It’s been only three months since the re-launch of the online poker site and during that time, there has been fervent activity at Full Tilt Poker. A FTOPS (Full Tilt Online Poker Championship) edition has gone into the books already and the second one is already on its way. It’s as if the site is trying to make up for the time it lost following its Black Friday ordeal.
The XXII edition of the FTOPS will take place between March 17 and March 31 and it will yet again feature a flurry of online tournament action: there will be no fewer than 38 individual events held, and once again, millions will be awarded in guaranteed prizes.
The first event of the 22nd edition of the Series will be a $216 buy-in one, which will offer a guaranteed prize-pool of $850k. The Series will gradually build up momentum to the final day of the event, on March 31, when the Main Event kicks off. The Main Event features a buy-in of $640 and it offers a guaranteed prize-pool of $2 million.
The last edition of the FTOPS was a resounding success in December. The winner of the Main Event was Yann Dion, who fought his way through a starting field of 4,766 players to grab the top prize of $453.2k. Obviously, since the last FTOPS, traffic at Full Tilt Poker has consolidated and thus the starting fields and the prizes are expected to be even bigger this time around.
Besides the above said events, the FTOPS XXII will feature a $1k+$50
NL Holdem Double Chance event as well.
