The days of Full Tilt Poker going up against
PokerStars racking up various record-breaking feats are obviously over, but that doesn’t mean nothing exciting happens over there these days records-wise. On July 25 for instance, a 1 billion chip pot developed at one of the play money tables. Play money action is usually not taken seriously anywhere but at PokerStars, where the play money chips do in fact have a real money value, but this milestone event proves that play money action is indeed getting more serious at Full Tilt Poker too.
Some 6 players took part in the said hand, each of them armed with a pretty massive play money stack. The player with the most chips was 1shini1, who had no less than 674.4 million chips at his disposal. Other players involved in the pot sported stacks of 490.5 million, 194.4 million and 102.8 million. The smallest stack at the table was that of “overtetop” who had 17.5 million chips.

The hand kicked off with a number of consecutive raises and re-raises (as it’s usually the case in play money games), and the pot grew to a massive size before the flop of 5h,7c,4h, hit the board. The flop was followed by a couple of checks, but eventually, the two players with the largest stacks, 1shini1 and Mitti7, pushed all-in to create a true monster. The flop fell the 4c, followed by the 10c on the river. Those two cards gave a K-high flush to 1shini1 who thusly ended up taking down the biggest pot in the history of play money games at Full Tilt Poker.
